Terms & Conditions

In consideration of ANIMAL HEALTH SERVICES LTD (Te Aroha Veterinary Services) providing goods and services the customer agrees:

• To pay for all goods and services supplied by the clinic on the same day.
• If prior written approval has been given for Production animal clients to open an account, payment is due on or before the 20th day of the following month immediately following the date of invoice for those goods and services.  
• If payment is not made in full by the due date, Animal Health Ltd shall be entitled to charge the customer interest on the unpaid balance at the close of each month, at a rate as determined from time to time up to the date of actual payment.
• Accounts may be paid by cash, credit card, AfterPay, EFTPOS or Direct Debit & Direct Credit via bank account.
• Animal Health Ltd shall be under no obligation to supply goods or services on credit to the customer.
• All costs relating to collection agency fees on overdue accounts will be charged to the customer.

After-Hours Service – Registered Clients

Access to our after-hours veterinary service is available to registered clients where the animal requiring care has been examined by Te Aroha Veterinary Services in a paid consultation within the previous 12 months.

Where the animal requiring care has not been examined by Te Aroha Veterinary Services in a paid consultation within the previous 12 months, but the client is otherwise registered, access to after-hours care is at the discretion of the on-call veterinarian, and only where a reasonable after-hours service can be provided. Where a reasonable service cannot be provided, advice and referral information for local dedicated after-hours or emergency providers will be given.

In these circumstances, an additional after-hours surcharge may apply.

Where appropriate, small animal or equine cases may be referred to a local dedicated after-hours or emergency service. Any such service operates independently and is not affiliated with Te Aroha Veterinary Services.

All applicable fees, surcharges, and referral options will be explained at the time of contact wherever reasonably possible.
